The 8 mantra of wisdom

Updated: Oct 11, 2020

1) Words are powerful, use them wisely.

Everything you say can change you to become what you said. The notion of believing in what you say will affect your every little actions.

2) People come and go, but the right ones stay.

Only true friends and loved ones will not ditch you in times of trouble. You may have people crowding around you when you are rich and successful but the question is how many of them will stay when you are at your lowest point in life?

3) You are doing enough even if it doesn't feels like it.

You have done your best and that is enough. Not everyone is meant to be bill gates and not everyone is meant to be Einstein. If you have give it your all, give yourself a pat on the back and say good work.

4) Failure is when you don't try.

No idea is a bad idea. No effort spent is well.. no effort spent. Sometimes life is holding us back on trying out the big things. You can always start light. I am in job with a tough environment and I decided to try out working on this blog as a hobby and see if it can become something big. I had failed many times in life in many things, joining the idol contests, trying to trade financial assets for a living and many more. Heck, i have started a few blogs previously which I decided to close them down as they weren't really working. Looking back, there were a lot of things I could do better but failing made me a better man.

5) Random acts of kindness makes everyone feel better.

It simply make the world a betterplace of mankind if every single human being can exercise a little bit of kindness in him.

6) Live for today, not tomorrow.

My dad passed on at the age of 67 after battling with his heart disease and stroke for 5 years. My college friend passed on when she was riding on her boyfriend's motorcycle at 20. Think you got a long life ahead? Think again. Sometimes you get too concerned about whats next and you forget whats truly important to you. Treasure your loved ones and true friends like tomorrow never come.

7) Never look back, there is nothing there for you

You can't rewrite history, you can't turn back time. I wish I had a time machine whereby I can do right so many things but that just ain't happening. You can only pick yourself up and move forward no matter what decisions you have made. It may be a painful memory that gonna stick with you for a long long time but the only thing you can do is press on and become a better person from the wrong you have done.

8) Overthinking kills happiness.

We can't achieve state of zen but we can worry less about things that are not within our control. Meditate, do yoga, go for a jog. Get your mind off the negative energy and you will realise happiness is not that far away.
